The New Outlaw Sling - New Pictures Put Up

Sorry for the interrpution in the thread. I had to pay-up my dues for sponsorship. Thank You Yellowhammer!

Now that I am a sponsor, I can talk freely about The Outlaw Sling.

So, go on and continue sending questions and comments, and more importantly, send me those orders.

BTW: I will be adding another sling to the line, keep your eyes open for The Outlaw AR Sling! Give me a little time to build a prototype, then into a marketing type. I will post the pictures and information when it is done.

Glad to see ya signed up! Now I can add your sling to my wish list. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif This thread was just a small sampling of how well you will do here. It is the slowest time of the year. You should get busy making as many slings as you possibly can. This fall you will be swamped with orders.

IdahoDawgBustr
I have just ordered Two of your slings and cant wait to get them. They are just what I have been looking for and will be in your neck of the woods this fall for a Elk hunt and then on to Montana for a Antelope hunt.We will put your slings thru the real test.
Thanks

Weasel_UT,

Thanks for the "Welcome".

I want to apologize to you and all management, sponsors, and members, if this thread caused any problems before I got signed up as a sponsor. But, like I promised, I got'er done! I am so glad I did get it done, because in my opinion PM is the right place to be for a start-up business.

If this is just a sample, I can't wait till it picks up. I am looking forward to being really busy. Not like I am not already busy enough.

Well........it really wasn't much of a problem. It was obvious you have a good product that members would be interested in. We at PM like to have good people with good products as sponsors. The members benefit, PM benefits and you benefit. It's a win-win situation. I wish you much success. Now git ta stitch'n! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

GrizleyHunter,

Thank You for your order.

I am so glad that I was able to fill an need for the hunter and shooter. It is a good feeling.

Do me a favor, as you put The Outlaw through it's paces, please take pictures, and send them to me to use on the website.

I don't think you will be disappointed with it.

Thanks Again.

Hey Everyone,

Just a heads up, I will be adding a new sling to the line-up. If I can make it work,

For all you AR15 fanatics out there, it will be called The Outlaw AR Sling. Made for the AR15 Platform.

Keep your eyes open for the announcement. When I get it done, I will post the pictures and information.

Also, By Monday; I should have new pictures and a video of The Outlaw Sling, if the guy I have doing them finishes with it. He will be using the sling in a simulated hunting situation, with and without a pack, climbing a hill, etc...

I will add the video to my website, along with the new pictures.

Gary- welcome aboard! The think about these slings is the level of "custom" fit that you can build into the product.

I'm looking forward to seeing the AR sling.

Hey Gary,

Welcome to the best hunting board on the net!

I like your idea and know what it takes to start a new business and get it going. I just started an upholstery business myself! LOL I'm just the owner so don't worry about me sewing anything!!!! I'd probably centerpunch my fingers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would like to see a similar sling setup for my crossbow.
I will PM you!

Nikonut,

Thank You for the welcome.

Congradulations on your business start-up. It is a very exciting and emotional time. I love every minute of it.

I learn quickly that I had to keep the digits out of the needle area. LOL. If you are not paying attention, it will get you before you know it.

You bet! PM me, send me pictures and diminsions, and I will see about building one that will fill you bill. If the crossbow has sling swivels, the sling will probably work as it is made.

Hey Gary,

If it's ok I think I'll try to give you a call to talk about some ideas.

My crossbow has sling swivels but carries the bolts horizontally under the bow arms so it might need some modification to not hit me in the back of the head. Maybe an add on side carrier?

Nikonut,

I don't mind if you call. I am usually back in the house between 2PM and 3PM and all evening. I am taking care of business in the mornings. If I am not in I have an answering machine. Or you can call back later.

Talk to You Later.

My friend Kevin Lukens, and his wife Christiane, took pictures of The Outlaw Sling this weekend, in simulated hunting situations.

He is walking through the woods, over and among fallen trees, through the grass, and he is also carrying his rifle over a pack.

He is wearing a 2008 GSPHA Championship Hunt Shirt, carrying a set of Predator Sniper Stix, Predator Stix hat, and has a Shepard Scope on his rifle.

In one picture Kevin is using the Predator Sniper Stix with his rifle shouldered, to show that there is no problem using the sling with shooting stix.

Kevin is 5'9" 160 lbs.
They took 13 pictures in all. This week, I will be picking up the video that they made. It will be posted on my website.
You can see all the pictures on my website at: www.timberbutteoutdoors.com. on the "Photos" page.

I hope this will answer your questions, and help you make up your mind to purchase The Outlaw Sling.

Please do not forget about me. I hunt with a DPMS AP4 in 308. This thing is very heavy. It is not a AR15 but close. Just guessing but the best way to carry this would be to have the Rifle lay on its side against your back.

daddyflea,

I will begin working on the AR Outlaw Sling, as soon as I can find a friend that has an AR that I can borrow for a couple days.

I will let you all know when it is done and ready to roll.

But, for now, I will be waiting for your order of the Outlaw Sling.

Thanks

I saw the new pictures of the sling. Those are good pictures. I am glad you got someone to put it on have there picture taken. It makes it have a different diminsion, when someone is packing a gun with it. Grandma always said, "Take a picture it last longer!"

I also went to your website, the way you did the pictures, click on it and it gets bigger, thats neat feature.

I am glad to see that you are now a sponsor! Congradulation!
I think you are going to be really busy selling them.

Keep Your Powder Dry.
