Night is always darker before the dawn and life is the same, the hard times will pass, every thing will get better and sun will shine brighter then ever.
Regarding one of my daughter's show lambs: "This lamb has two brain cells and they're both fighting for third place." My son. I suspect it's an adaptation of someone else's wisdom, but quite appropriate if you know sheep.
