Thermal Equipped Electric Hunting Cart for Night Use

Skypup,

My Foreman is a 2006 model and I don't think it has fuel injection. I think it's a carbureted model. I can't find a pic of it right now and it's in a box trailer with a bunch of other stuff....

It's also a manual 5 speed. I also have a similar gun rack up front. I have a 3K pound Warne winch on it.

Tires are stock...

I wish it was quieter... It's powerful but slow but then it's faster than I'd ever ride it... LOL

The fuel injection on it is spot on. I put a lift kit and 27 inch SwampLite tires on it with 1" wheel spacers and it is a swamp cruiser for sure, very stable and quiet too. That is what I like about it.

those honda foreman's are great quads, I know of two that are 15 years old and have over 50 thousand hard miles on them. they are 450's.

Gman,
Thats a nice cart you have there. We use an old $150 36v ez-go to cruise the field roads in, 3 miles in and we usually make it back to the truck

Thats with two men and three dogs. It will put you right on them.
Got a Samurai to use this year, . It's quiet, street legal, goes anywhere and has heat. cruises at walking speed in 2nd/lo. It's within a few inches/pounds of the same size as a kubota for ten thousand or so less. Best of all, with three boys on my insurance, adding the samurai made my total premium go down!
We see with gas or diesel vehicles that using low range and not touching the accelerator works best. Walking the roads and thermaling ahead of the vehicles shows that variations in engine pitch really tip animals off earlier than a constant low engine sound.
I'd love a cart like yours but we only have one farm that is really suitable for an electric. Those lights and other toys would go great on the sammy, though.

I still have my original red all-the-time 4WD Honda TRX 300 air cooled that I bought new in 1993! It still has the ITP BlackWater mud tires on it that I got when new, thing is a beast. With no radiator I virtually use it like a bulldozer sometimes to go through thick snare brush that nothing else would make it though.
