Thermal On a Polaris Side x Side

I wanna mount a thermal camera on my jeep or polaris ranger for scanning while driving about. i think some have used the flir vue that is made for a drone and mounted it in a go light housing so it would pan and tilt with the remote for the go light not a bad idea but im looking for more or better ideas anyone got some ideas or done this?

You could use the OWL system from Night Goggles. It allows attaching a Pulsar monocular to anything metal. You could also mount an ARCA Swiss QR clamp and plate on the OWL or just on the magnet if you want it stationary. When you get to a stand, 2 seconds, a quick twist of the clamp, and use the monocular on the stand. You would use an Android (recommended over Apple OS products for stable connectivity) phone or tablet mounted in the Polaris or truck using the StreamVision app, and you are set. You will see the view from the monocular inside the vehicle. This is a fantastic option for someone who can't justify a permanent vehicle mounted solution. Here is a link to the OWL System

If you wanted to run a USB cable up to yet, yes, but I wouldn't bother. The IPS5 runs about 6 hrs and the IPS10 about 12. You can swap one out in about 5 seconds, so it should be really easy. If you have any questions on the set up give me a shout or Tom at Night Goggles.
