Thermion with a PVS 14 shuttered eye piece

So here is a Thermion with a PVS 14 shuttered eye piece on it.

It fits on there and maybe with a zip tie it will stay on? The eye piece opens up with a bit of forward pressure and there is still room before my eye socket presses in to the scope. Would not recommend on any large caliber due to the recoil.

Figure I'll give it a try.

Nice. I got one in as well Cap. Plan to use it on my SCION scanner for starters. The eye cup on the SCION is nice, but when pulled away from my face it sure lights up the area due to the backwash light. Should do the trick and help from spooking off the critters...

Zip tie might work on your Thermion. You could also try some silicone sealant to hold it on better
 
Put one on my SCION and ran it last night. Worked really nice and certainly helped with the backwash light when getting off the scanner and getting on the gun.
 
I tried one several years back. It worked okay until the weather got hot enough and high humidity to where it started fogging the ocular. Gave up on it!
