thinking about getting a DPMS 308...help

it has a 16 inch barrel,what kind of accuracy can i expect?

what would be a good scope?

Under 2" 100 yard groups with most any ammo.

Nikon, Leupold, Burris, Bushnell 3200, 4200 or??

3.5-10 power is all you will need.

Mine is the DPMS AP-4 308 and I killed two coyotes one morning both were 403 and 423 yards using hand-loaded 110 grain V-Max bullets. Mine shoots just under 1 inch on a regular day.

They typicaly shoot 1 moa with factory ammo (150 grain to 175 grain) If you handload you will do much better.
