Thinking about upgrading my foxpro cs-24.

Well my old original cs-24 is starting to have a few issues. Been thinking I'll upgrade and keep it as a spare. My question is the fusion with a sp-60 speaker as loud as the cs-24? Also is the cs-24c as loud as the original cs-24? I hunt in flat wide open usually windy sage country.

Just get another cs-24 or send yours back and have them look at it. They are plenty loud and light. 👍👍

I liked the fusion size and performance. I found adding and carrying the fp60 to be a pain.
The cs-24 has a unique spot in the lineup with the new remote making it better.
The shockwave is slightly larger and the sound is so clean that it is playing louder than it seems.

Convenience-Fusion
Loud + easy to carry=CS24c
Almost as loud + feature rich=Shockwave

Don't know if the CS24c is as loud as the CS24b (it should be), I think the CS24c now has a plastic speaker horn instead of metal one, and the TX1000 remote is simply the best you can get. If your call does not have the TX1000 remote, it's worth upgrading to the CS24c just for that. From the sound of your scenario, I don't think it gets better than the CS24c. Anything bigger or louder would have to be vehicle mounted for me.

I had a Fusion and SP-60 setup and while it was a great call and loud, I didn't like having to pack a call and extra speaker. I recently got a Shockwave, and it's not really that much heavier to pack in than the Fusion and should be lighter than a Fusion plus the SP-60. Much easier to setup since the second speaker is already there and hooked up and they pivot to point in the desired direction. The Shockwave has a really clean sound and produces plenty of volume for me.

The Fusion with the SP-60 allows you to point the speakers different ways not just the way the hinges go, so unless they come off the hinges, the Fusion & SP60 is more pointable. I have an SP60 but have never used it once. The Shockwave is not super heavy, but its dimensions are bulky. It has a lot of features most which never get used. I doubt it is as loud as the CS24c. If I were buying another caller today, it would be th CS24c. I had a CS24b and only upgraded for the TX1000 remote.

I believe the cs models have slightly more volume than the shockwave. The shockwave plays sounds better to the ear which is nice but does not automatically mean more kills.
The newer cs plastic horn may not be as durable but maybe won't rattle with certain sounds.
The Cs models will fit in the bag for a fusion and the shockwave requires a little larger bag.
I have obviously had too many Foxpros and sometimes have buyers remorse soon after the purchase, like the scorpion.
Lucky I received a couple as gifts.
May have to try another brand if a sickness takes over again.

Thanks for the input I think I'll go CS24c I really like mine. It's getting a pop sound once in awhile but it took a 4buck pellet to the back of the speaker last year pretty sure that's where that issue came from.

There's your answer, if you knew it was a call and you shot it with you 4buck it should for sure fool a coyote 👍🐕💥

I've been trying sell both of my FoxPro's (Firestorm and Fury 2) to get either a Shockwave with Foxjack or a Lucky Duck Revolution. Haven't had any luck selling my two FoxPro's though. Nothing wrong with them so I guess I'll keep stacking bodies with them.
