Coyotes will eat anything that doesn't bite back and lots that does.
A few years ago a farmer next to the ranch I hunt planted a huge field of watermellons. Found the watermellon patch by following the very colorful (and plentiful) coyote scat.
Based on the plentiful red scat, it must have been quite a party, sure sorry I missed it!

yup, ive seen coyote and fox eat sugar beets after they hve been topped or pcs that are laying in the field after harvest.

I had a chocolate lab that ate corn on the cob better than most humans do. Cleaned the cob free of any corn left on it.

I got to looking at some of the other pictures on the trail cam and realized that the corn cob he had in his mouth was dropped right where he stood.

The first coyote I ever killed took her final dump when I hit her with 00 buck and it was nothing but apples. We were about 1/2 mile from the orchard.
