Anyone familiar with this? It is called the Operative TD. It is a take down 10/22 but with a integrally suppressed barrel. I have a buddy that really wants to snag one of these, but is unsure. Some help on this would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Don't know about that one, but I got the Gemtech Mist integral suppressed .22 barrel, they make two versions, one is for the takedown model.

Without a doubt, it is the quietest suppressed .22LR I have ever shot, way better than any can on the end of the barrel....

No, I have two custom Ruger 10-22 target rifles that both shoot a ragged hole with ten shots at 25 yards, one is a day gun and the other is a night gun with a dedicated FLIR RS-64 TWS, of course I can use the thermal during the day on hunts too, but the other day .22 is set up for precision target practice.

They are quiet as [beeep], But i was not impressed with the accuracy at all. At 25 yards with 4 different kinds of ammo group I could do was 1.75 to 2.25".
the TD's are great. you can get a Tac Solo SBX barrel, they are very nice, and accurate. Option #2. would be SAS can make you one as well, The Brazin is very accurate and quiet. I'll post up a Vid of it shooting, and accuracy targets.

Thanks
Steve

Lipsey's is the sole distributor for the Gemtech Mist integral Ruger 10-22 suppressed barrels, I got mine for $475 plus BATFE tax.
