Tikka t 3 lite 22/250 need help.

Wow I am surprised. I have the same gun and have shot only factory ammo. All of it seemed to group fairly well. Everything from the 45 grain white box Winchester, 50 grain UMC jacketed hollow points 50 grain vmax, 55 grain v max.
The only one I would not take hunting would have been the 55 grain Winchester ballistic silver tips. UMC would have the occasional flyer, but all others shot under 1 inch at 100 yards. The one I use for hunting in 50 grain vmax.

W wade if u have any 50gr v max I have almost a box of nolser 50 gr bt I would trade and buy your v max if u want to sell any. Richard

The V-Max bullets I have are 53 grain, not sure if they are still of interest to you? I was going to hang on to them and try to develop a load for my new AR with them, but don't have to. There are very few of mine missing in the box as well. I think I loaded up 9 rounds and after seeing the first group I stopped. Let me know. It might not be worth the hassle of shipping if they aren't exactly what you want.

Varget and a 55 gn Sierra BTHP shoots one hole. This is a very accurate gun for a light carry gun.

The first load I tried out of my T3 light stainless 22/250. She liked anything 52 or 53 grains over H4895. I did load some 55gr Rem Power Lokt with success and even killed a couple whitetails with that load. Hornady and Sierra match HPs performed as well or a little better,but the charge was the same. Infact,the second pic is of a group fired with a 22/250 VSSF (older model),with some of the Tikka ammo. I love that powder for the 22/250.

The T3 is a wonderful walking weight rifle. I also have it chambered in 25/06,7 Rem Mag, and 338 Winny Mag. Accuracy like that posted above is fine for a calling rifle provided you aren't calling bean fields or the like.

I am getting some good results with varget and 52 Bergers. I must try to 50 vmax.
It shot very well with the Superformance 50 gr. Factory.

Bore sighted it shot 3 bullets into a 1 inch dot. At 100 yds. The first 3 bullets the gun shot.!! using the Superformance

Tried the 50 gr V max ahead of 35, 35.5 and 36 gr Varget. CCI 200, W-W Brass
All three gave me groups under an inch, has anyone clocked the 50 v max and varget powder.
