In my T3 I use a 50 grn Vmax, 27.2 of Varget and a Rem 7 1/2 primer. This load shoots very good in evry 223 I've tried it in. Col is 2.285. It will be a compressed load and normal to hear a little powder crunch when seating the bullet.

This is the 53 gr load of which I spaketh....200 yds

52 berger with benchmark at 100 yds.

another 53 gr target from when I was doing load development...but you get the idea. I have loaded this exact load for 3 tikka varmints and they all shoot it very well.

All my 223s i own and used to own, were loaded woth max load od h322 and 40 grn vmaxes. Very clean shooting and extremely accurate.

Just picked up some 53gr v max to try, then I will start on
55gr vmax. I have benchmark,H4895 and varget for now,Im sure I can find something that will work

It did not like hornady 53gr v max super performance at all.as in not even hit the plate @ 100yds

I have a T3 Super Varmint that loves 68gr hornadys over 25.3 of Varget. This bullet does not do alot of damage but shoots very, very good.

My Tikka loves 26.5 hrains of Hodgden H335 behind a 50 grain Nosler BT. Shoots 3350 FPS. I neck turn my brass and and run the bullet just off the lands. This load shot well out of my AR as well. I have put 10 shots under a nickel with this load. BT bullets don't seem to tear up coyotes at all. Hope this helps.
