Agreed....while I like the reliability of their CRF and single stack magine you'll never hear me call a CZ a Mauser/Mini Mauser but I do like em for lots of other reasons.
I didn't care for the magazine on my FB so I had RVB shorten it and mill the trigger guard. Three shots now but in over ten years I haven't once needed more capacity and I shoot that rifle as much as all of my rifles combined.
Fortunately the magazine on my 223 Carbine doesn't bother me that much due to the difference in weight distribution because he now charges triple what I paid..
I bought a Tika T3 Hunter in 222 last spring when they were discounted to make way for the T3x.
It was super accurate, had an "OK" trigger, and a wood stock which I prefer but I just couldn't get past all the plastic parts and that goofy recoil lug/thing but as I've said before, my dislike for the plastic parts has more to do with my age than science.
I do like Sako's though. Had an L461 Vixon in 222 that a friend in Canada talked me out of that was what I consider the best small cal action ever made.
My choices....Sako...CZ...Tika....
