No idea. I'm putting them up to be tanned this spring. I'm going to learn how to do commercial tanning and make them available. Much better than selling a raw hide for $2 if you are lucky.
I'm sure there's tons of better ways to skin coyotes, by guys who skin for a living. A skinning shed would make the world of difference, as well. I'm just a coyote hunter looking for ways to quickly field skin.
We are almost finished with our telescoping skinning pole, for field skinning. Here it is in action, yesterday.
A couple more kinks to work out and she's done. I'm already seeing huge improvements to time reduction. I have to have a quick and easy way, as my clients expect to hunt...not skin, during the day.
