TIRES

The Cooper S/T is a good tire. On a Chevy not much road noise, but on a Ford or Dodge they will hum. I average 14,000 miles with the S/T but I put 30,000 miles of gravel a year on my vechiles. I have changed to the S/T/C (chip resistant). They hold up alot better on the gravel. I get around 26,000 with them. They only come in 10 ply, but for 95% of pickup owners that is good enough. For better traction and load stability I like a 235/85/16.

I might get a nasty gram for this but maybe not,
this is what I know about tires

Absolute Rule #1
if it has tires or teats you will have trouble with it
