Too much gun?

Yep, great story. A well placed bullet gets the job done. I'd rather be over powered than under powered. I shoot a 300 Win Mag on Texas Whitetails and these are not the trophy Texas white tails either. Most guys here shoot the "Thuty thuty" and think I'm crazy shooting this cannon. I know what I can do with this rifle at 300, 400, 500. Have not messed up meat yet. Great shot!
 
I second the opinion of the good excuse to buy a new gun. Although the 22-250 will do fine I believe you need the ballistics of a 100 grain .243cal. Come on man nows the time. What do the rest of you think?
 
The 22-250 will work fine but this is the things that make us buy new guns. Sounds to me like the 100 grain .243cal is what you need How bout the rest of you fellows?
