My son has never been out with me before ( Girls are more important /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif )
He asked me to take him out yesterday and said I would so bright and early this morning We went to the Timber.
After the first two stands he looked at me and asked if I had any spots close by.I told him I had scouted a spot last year that might have potential.
We stopped the rig about a 1/4 mile from the sight and walked in. We set up at the edge of clear cut and called into the wind. I started out with a Weems call and backed it up with soft cottontail wimpers. 3 min. in to the call up popped this old dog 15 feet from me on my bad side. I was laying down and had to roll very slowly to get the shot. I dont think he knew what to think of me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
After I took the 'Yote I checked the teeth and found the lower teeth had been broken in a manner that made them look like beaver teeth.
