Traditions Pursuit XLT

I decided to get a new smokepole this year, and this what I've settled on. A lot of features for the price, which I really like. It has almost all of the same features as the Triumph at 150 bucks less. Anyone used one? How accurate are they and how do they feel? Thanks.

I have a blue Traditions Pursuit Pro and also bought one for my nephew in SS its basically the same except mine has a steel receiver. It will shoot allmost as good as my Encores with 300gr SST's and 100gr Pyrodex I have shot it with 3 50gr Pellets ( Traditions says its ok ) and recoil wasn't bad with the 300gr SST's but With the XLT and its alloy receiver I would stick with the 100gr load as max. I like mine it has a nice feel and is pretty lite to carry I use it with the fibre-optic sights that came with it, the only thing I don't like is the PAS (copy of TC's QLA) it makes loading SST's or Shockwaves very difficult I also don't like the ones on the TC's and am having them cut off and re-crowned. I really like mine thats why I bought one for my nephew you can't really beat the price for what you get.

Thanks, I'll be using Blackhorn 209 and Barnes 250 GR. TMZ, I don't know how recoil compares on the blackhorn, but i know 120 grains is max.

I know this is an old thread..... I won one at an NRA banquet, thumbhole, silver finish, camo stock etc. I don't load more than equiv of 110gr. Using 777. 2 50gr pellets is good for 300grain projectiles. I generally shoot the cheaper TC with 240gr Hornady XTP's. It likes 90gr of 777 pellets (the 50cal 30gr jobbies x3) sub MOA to 125yds and that's my load for around my area.
