I have never used the climber but I will say that I think the lone wolf hang ons are the best stand on the market. Light weight and portable and they lock on better than any other stand I have ever used.

If your looking for a climber I'd go with the summit brand. Very comfy and stable. I have the Broadhead model and like it alot.
If you want a lock on type, try a Screeming Eagle. Not sure if you can get them anymore. Best stands ever built. They are kinda heavy. I think right around 16lbs. But well worth it. Most stable stand ever built. They used to have a picture of one holding a VW bug in the air. I thought it was a farse, but after getting one, I believe it could hold up a car. I like them so much, I own 9 of them.
