Trijicon Accupoint. What color?

I am thinking of putting an Accupoint on a new slug gun. After studying and contemplating which of 3 or 4 type reticles I should choose from I also have to decide which color, Red, Green, or Amber/Yellow.
Has someone here used one of these scopes and if so what color reticle do you prefer.
Thanks,
Tuco

My roommate just bought the 1.25-4x version with the green triangle. It will be here on Monday so I plan to play with it a bunch and see if I like it.

I'm thinking of the 5-20x in green triangle also. from all the pictures I could find on the web it seemed like the green was easiest to wash out if you got a dot version German #3 or Mil-Dot. But in triangle it seems like the lighted part is much larger hence much harder to wash out.

Of all of them green seemed the best to me... and is supposed to react to the human eye the best.

I'll post up here what I think of it on Monday night or Tuesday.

Yeah... he got the optic in yesterday... and WOW it's beautiful... one of the nicest optics I've ever looked through. And green is awesome.

Very bright... I could not get it to wash out on any of the trees, bushes, or grass out in the backyard.

I'm going green and I think you will be happy with it too.

The scope showed up yesterday and I am impressed with it. This is going on my new slug gun, waiting for the rings to show up. I am excited about trying this scope, will post a follow up.
Thanks again,
Tuco

I have thought of adding a Trijicon to the stable. I am very interested in a total review as to the glass quality, triangle verses other reticles and anything else related to the scope. I would rather pay once for quality than buying often replacing under performing optics.

I won a gift certificate to Trijicon at the A8 championship a couple weeks ago....so I ordered a 3x9x40 with the green dot and duplex. It should be here any day. Were I putting it on a close to mid range firearm, I'd have gone with the triangle too. The triangle works real well for multi-gun competition as well.
I'll report my overall impression of the scope when I get it.
