truck gun??

my first and longest lasting truck gun was a rem. 600 in 222. lived in the truck for more than 20 years. next one was a model 7 in 17rem. lasted a few years, current one is a tikka 595 in 223. think this one is the best of the bunch. really like this rifle. think it will last me the rest of my life.

That is OK with a larger truck but the M60 is good to go for even a compact truck.

I used to use a chopped winchester model 12, then i used a win 94 with a scout system, now i use a .357 hartford levergun, and I love it. that gun seems to always take care of business, be it skunk, deer or a bunny for camp meat. I wouldnt trade it for anything.

I would love to carry my Model 94 in my truck at all times but unfortunately I live in CA and if I were to get pulled over I would probably get a longer prison sentence than the murderers and rapists.

Jason.
I have a .44mag. carbine I would like to carry in my P.U. but I also live in california and sort of envy those that don't have to worry about getting stoped.

Best of luck .. Emilio .. Pico Rivera, Ca.

Just a short question for you guys stuck in the oeoles state of californicate. When did they suspend the fourth amendment? Just getting pulled over for a trafic stop is not going to give them the right to search your vehicle, unless you verbally do so. If your firearm is out of sight they have no reason to do a search unless you are arrested. The reasons to search a vehicle under the forth amendment and approved by the SCOTUS are with a warrant, subsequent to arrest, or if you give permission. Period.

i have a soft gun rack that attachs to the seat backs in my truck and i always have this

and either one of my deer rifles or my enfield fake jungle carbine. i love that gun to death its light and short like the original jungle carbines but it holds its zero and is tough as nails

Several truck guns. The first was a 700Varmint rechambered to 22-250AI. Now there's a 700/22-250AI/Walther sporter weight.......788/.223 cut to 20"...... 700/.223AI/Schneider Rem. varmint weight..... 700/.243AI/#5 Pacnor.......Savage 110/.257Wby/#5 SSS. These two little guys are always along regardless, a 77-22/.22Mag/Walther and a T/C carbine .17AH/Bullberry.
