Tip on drying. After draining water and separating media, rinse brass in some alcohol. Drain off alcohol and place brass on a shoe rack for the dryer. 5-10 min in dryer brass is ready to go.

I assume the alcohol dries faster and gets rid of the water spots?
 
Yes sir. I don't know the techinal words for it, but cuts the drying time dramatically. It evaporates the water quicker and dries quicker.
