turkey choke tube selection for 12 ga 3 1/2 inch remmington

i was jsut wonderin what the best, and hopefully cheapest, x-tra full or xx full choke tube is and who makes it and where can i get it. also how far out is it good til and wha tkinda ammo. sorry for all the ?s
 
I dunno, I have Remington chokes, Cylinder thru extra extra tight turkey choke. My rem. 870 patterns best with the extra full, not the turkey choke, at 50 yards. Also it patterns 3 inch better than any 3.5 I have tried. I have no idea why but what ever you get make sure you test shoot it. For my gun 3inch #4 puts 6 or 8 pellets in the head everytime at 50 yards and alot in the neck.

PatternMaster...no other choice. They have a 3" choke and an extended ported choke made for 3 1/2's. We tested them extensivly. 8" patterns at 40yds with 00buck. We hunt geese for a living and this is the only way to go.
 
Robert- since this is the bird hunting forum, can I assume that you are wanting to use it for hunting birds?

I don't think that you would want to shoot 00 Buck and any kind of bird I can think of. It is not legal for geese (or at least I have never seen non-toxic 00 Buck shot), and it is not preferred for turkeys. In fact, many states do not allow shot size below #4 for turkeys.
