Turkey Season is coming up...what do you all use???

Got to witness my cousin shoot one yesterday at 51 yards with a single shot 10ga. and a 34 inch full choke barrel loaded with a 2 1/4 oz. #5 turkey load! Lots of destruction on both ends of that gun,very entertaining! lmao!

Winchester sxp 28" kicks choke. Old federal 3" #5's. Not the new ones eith that flight control wad crap. Im comfy taking one out at 60yards

If you shot that bird in oklahoma you. You took him illegally. The use of electronic calls to call wild turkeys are illegal. Carrying an ar in the feild wild Turkey hunting is also illegal.

I was only trying to call him out on the pink AR. You guys are brutal. I wondered about the E caller but some states allow them.

Mouse Berg 12 Ga. with extra full turkey choke, and what ever shells I have in my pocket = Some turkey loads my Brother in law bought when I lent him the Mouse Berg for his turkey hunt.
 
I use a Winchester model 12 16 ga. or my s&w m 1000 in 20 ga for shotgun. Turkeys in my neck of the woods arent hard to get close to. 7 1/2 shot trap loads do the job just fine. Never needed to shoot over 25 yards. I use a 55# recurve loaded with 120 grains of muzzy from time to time. Hopefully I will win the double barrel black powder shotgun I have raffle tickets for. That would be fun.

Mossberg Ulti-Full 695 choke
Federal Premium Pre-FCW 3.5" 2.25 ounce 6's
or
Nitro H510 2.25 ounce 2x5x7 Hevi's

Winchester 1300 NWTF Laminate 22" Barrel
Jellyhead 665
Nitro H378i 3" 4x5x7 Hevi's
or Winchester HV 5's

Turkeys are in real danger with any of these rigs in my hands.
 
Mossberg 535 & Winchester 3" shells #5 shot. Turkey hunting is by far the best time I've had yet. I hunt every animal I can...
 
Already done here. I hunted last week in the snow and rain
because I like to feel pain! The weather cleared Sat. and
this 2 year old got to within 42 yards of the Browning Gold
10 in the picture. 9" beard, 1" spurs, and guesstimate weight
at 19 lbs.



I shoot custom loaded 2 oz. #5 Hevi-Shot loads, with Ballistic
Products components. I have killed toms out to 56 yards with
this load, out of that Browning Gold 10, with various choke
tubes.
