Twist rate vs. Bullet weight Question

Roadrunner,
You are absolutely right, it is the RPM that matters. For years I have been pushing the bullet makers to publish needed RPM figures, obviously with zero success. I have also been pushing for maximum RPM figures their bullets will hold together at, also with zero success.

Every time I go to a trade show I keep bitching.

I'm with ya Jack! To think of the barrel life I could have saved not having to try every bullet to find only 3 that would stabilize or not blow up at 20 yards. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I'm gonna try to put a bug in some reloading writers ear. If it gets published more it may make bullet makers re think things. RPM's would answer alot of the questions of why X bullet performs well on coyotes for 1 person yet blows up on contact for another. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif Have a GREAT day all.. RR

Jack don't give up on the bitchin' /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
