Wow Rick, great video. watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. My favorite is the hunts in Kansas. I don't care as much for the Canada stuff because I know I will never make it up there and I like to relate to the stuff like I call. I love the last hunt on the tape!!! I hope you make a full-body mount out of that one. Also, what kind of groups are you getting out of the "meat getter"? and what kinda gun is is Shawn Heydon shooting, caliber? I heard it was a .243 AI. If so what gr bullet is he shooting? Thanks for the surprize call in the package. Your a good person and it shows on your tapes. Once again.....GREAT SHOW, Brent

Hey Rick,

I just ordered a twisted Syco, Verminator V DVD, and a skull cap. I can't wait to get them. I have all your calls and DVDs and have never once been disappointed. I love all of them.

I still bust a gut when I watch the scene where you shoot your brand new chronograph with your bow. That is some good stuff. I did the exact same thing with the first chronograph I had only it was with a rifle, so I could totally relate.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys,

Will, thats crazy, wish I was there with a camera.I would have bailed you out.

OKBrent The meat getter used to get pretty good groups, I dont know any more, I was shootin coyotes with it over 20 years ago. Its just one of those special guns that whoever picks it up kills with it everytime. There's at least 4 different people on Verminator 5 that were using it. Me and Shyanne just added up in the last 2 years it has killed 2 bears, 3 whitetails, 6 coyotes and 1 cat with no misses. And when I throw it in the Suburban for somebody to use I tell them it's on a hot streak and what all it's shot, so they better not miss. That girl on Verminator 5 named Holly shot 2 coyotes with it before I finally filmed her shooting the 3rd one of that morning, because she shot the first 2 before I was on them with the camera. So like I said, it just seems to be one of them cool guns that's always in the Suburban for whoever wants to use it.
As far as Shawn, I'll have to get with Randy and ask him.

SDCoyoteCaller: Yeah, my mom still hasn't gotten over me shooting that chronograph she got me for Christmas.

Thanks again everybody, don't forget, free USPS shipping on 2 or more items. Just enter coyote into the coupon code at our web store www.verminatorpc.com

I just got the syco tweety and original tweety call and have already called in some yotes. Thatd be great if you guys could put something up on youtube on how to use the calls and make different sounds with them. I have no clue how to usethe syco tweety but since my mom goes nuts when i use it in the house im sure the yotes will too.

Got my twisted syco in the mail today. Rick you hit a homerun with this one. The old syco tweety was [beeep] on Bobcats. But after playing with the new one. I should be seeing plenty of cats this winter. I also like the groove for hanging from a lanyard.

Keep up the good work!

I'm bringing this back up to the top for several reasons. One, I love the Verminator dvd's. Seem like a geniune bunch of good ol' boys. Two, I like the big game extra's. Three, despite the fact I don't get to see my purty face on this dvd...some camera man who will remain nameless didn't bring the camera along everyday...I won't say his name but his intitials are TR.

I'm sure it will still be a great video. Heck, without me on it the editing was probably easier. Oh and last but not least...Rick and TR I just ordered my copy and I'm dang happy to have it on its way. Keep up the great work boys!

I picked up the Twisted Syco and Syco Tweety and got them last week. The Twisted Syco has a great, deep raspy sound. I took it out in the back hills just messing around. Within three mintes I had a young coyote trot in over a hill and just stand there looking at me. I plan to wear that thing out this season...great sounding call!

Switch, bring it with you when you come to Montana this fall. We might could find a yote or two once your buck is on the ground.

Rick,
Just placed my order for the DVD on your website. Thanks for keeping us entertained while we wait for cool weather to come back to Kansas.

Dont let TR leave the camera in the truck next time you go, he's always telling me about his awesome hunts he goes on but like always the camera ends up in the truck, If i didn't live so far away i would come up there and kick his skinny little rear end. What did you think of scotts bear?

Thanks again guys for all the comments and keep them comming.

Rick

Hey Rick,
You are the man.Love your calls and your vids. The first coyote I ever called in was with your long range tweety and he came in to about 3 yards. To bad he came from behind me. Thats all it took to get me hooked. Sure would love to see you make another "bowmania" video..... Can I come out coyote hunting with you and your crew. I would love to take one with my recurve. -Thanks Rick for the great calls and the entertaining videos!!!-
Troy

Quote:so if he dont take the camera you better quicker on the draw than TR !!
Ya got that right, they call me "the dog hog", for good reason..

TR, that's one of the major perks of hunting with you. A guy just knows that if the coyote closes within a 100 yards and you and I are on the trigger...it'll pretty much be the last thing that coyote does on this planet. One of us is going to let the air out of him. Always nice to have someone that can shoot along.

Rick the video is outstanding and in my opinion a "must have" for anyone that enjoys predator hunting videos. You have a great introduction at the beginning of the dvd and a ultra cool ending hunt. You have your work cut out for you to top this video! Oh and Scott's bear was a nice representative bear, but watching him try to get set up for the shot was worth the price of the dvd alone. That was some good entertainment right there!!!

You are correct Troy, the down side to being the "first shot trigger man", is when you miss, no one forgets about it. A guy can kill 50 without a miss, but miss a chip shot, or miss several on the same stand, and they never forget it..
