In TR's defense I will say that having seen him shoot I wouldn't want him shooting at me. Even his misses are close enough to scare the life out of most critters.
 
TR you aint the only there is plenty of guys from videos i would rag on but not all of them can take it like you .. lol .

found out my video has been shipped so i cant wait to see Rick and the crew that includes TR in action again !!
 
Hey TR,

Can you explain to a beginner what the muffs you wear while hunting in the Verminator videos are? I have a feeling the may have sound amplification capabilities but thought I'd ask! Please explain...

Redfoot, I wear the Walker Quad muffs, and yes you are correct that they do have amplification capabilities, but I wear them mostly just for ear protection. I've got tennitis, and I've decided to get serious about saving what hearing I have left. I don't do any shooting these days without hearing protection of some sort. I turn the muffs on but I don't adjust the sound level much higher than my normal hearing ability because if I hear something, maybe a howl in the distance, I want to have an idea of the distance the sound is away from me.
Honestly I don't like carrying them and I don't really like to wear them, BUT when I think about the alternative of loosing my hearing, I've learned to adjust to them.
 
Man, I didn't realize we had all these celebrities on here. Every once in a while I learn that someone I see on here a lot is someone I've seen on a video.

I wear Howard Leight electronic muffs and like them a lot. They are pretty light and low profile. I keep them adjusted just at or barely above normal hearing, otherwise every sound gets me excited.
