Me and my 2 room-mate's was hunting on his ranch in Coke county, and we all have cell phones....to eliminate any noises, we "text messaged" each other and put our phones on silent....just another way of communications. It just so happens we all get Full Service out there..that also helps

I use the Cobra Micro Talk. Used mine during deer hunting season and mine worked good. Have'nt used mine yet coyote hunting but putting in my bag tonight. The only thing I don't like about mine is when you key it to talk , the other radio will roger beep when the key is released. However I want be talking to my partner till the hunt is over. IF you are going to use radio's to talk to your partner while calling, you may want to get you some ear buds with your radio or get one that dont have the roger beep on it. Most of the ones I've seen will roger beep at some point. The ones I bought were $60 per pair
