In November (deer season), I received a call from the Southwest Virginia DNR senior enforcement officer to help out with some calf killing coyotes in Scott county. I couldn't go because of health and had to turn the job over to my club members. I asked him what about firearms restrictions on my .22 center-fires. I was informed there wasn't any. Virginia accepts that you are varmint hunting until "the hunter" proves otherwise as to actions/intent. Innocent until proven guilty was what I was left with - what a novel concept.
