I posted this in the caller section but I'm also putting it here hopefully get more visibility

I bought a fusion earlier this year and the third time out I started having problems with the remote. When I turn the remote on i get a blank white screen. Turning it off then back on solved it at first but now all I get is the white screen. The remote still functions but I can't tell what I'm selecting.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and maybe found a solution other than obviously sending it in to foxpro

What did FoxPro tell you when you called them when you first had the issue?

They have some of the most friendly knowledgeable willing to help customer service people of any company in the world.

try synchronizing the remote and the caller.instructions are in the owners manual .if that doesn't work do what RockinU and weekender suggested. Bet the guys at FoxPro can fix your problem.good luck

goldeneagle747,

I just checked with the service dept., and it doesn't appear as if you called in to check into this yet. The first thing I would look at is your batteries. It's possible that if your batteries in your transmitter are very low, it could go to a white screen. It's also possible that it is a component level issue on the board, but after checking history on this issue, there have only been less than a handful of issues that were component level related. In other words, out of all of the TX1000's that have been sold, it's a very low possibility that's the case. If you verify that the batteries are good, and you still have the issue, I'd send it in, and we'll get it repaired and returned to you asap.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the responses. For some reason I couldn't get back on the forum last night right after I posted.

I have tried new batteries but it didn't help. Got busy today and didn't get a chance to call customer service but I plan on it tomorrow. I had searched the net for someone else with a similar issue and didnt find anything and thought someone here might have come across the problem

I sent the remote in and received it back in about two weeks. CS was great and it didn't cost me a dime. Turns out the lcd was damaged and they replaced it.
