TX500 remote is blank

Im letting my buddy borrow my fury and he said after he turns on remote, the screen goes blank, cant see anything.
Anyone ever have this happen or have any suggestions besides calling foxpro?

Well guys, it comes on, but the screen looks totally diff. It says On, on, and stereo at the top?
Maybe some buttons got pushed, accidentally, but my call list doesn't come up on it.
I will call Foxpro this week.
 
Sounds like it is on the wrong mode. You need to access the main menu by pressing and holding the rotary selector knob for 2 to 3 seconds. The screen will change and show you the main menu. The main menu has sub menus. The two main sub menus are Fury Control and TX500 config. Each of those has other menu items inside. I feel sure that is where your problem lies.

Might be a good idea to take the batteries out first, leave them out a couple of minutes, reinstall and then follow the steps outlined above.
 
sorry possumal. I haven't got it resolved yet. today is Ohios opening day of deer gun law, so I've been out hunting. I will try your advice when I get home tonight! Thanks
 
Take a picture of it and use Photobucket to host it. Click on the IMG code which will copy it, and then right click in the body of your post and choose Paste.
 
Saws21, I guess you are telling us that the advice worked. I hope so. If you had clicked on the IMG code link, it would have let you post a bigger picture.
 
I can't really see it clearly, but maybe you are trying to say this is what you are getting. If that is the case, are you going by the manual or by what I advised?
 
Saws21, I think you said the sounds were still on your Fury and will play manually. I would suggest you go into your TX500 configuration menu and choose Upload Sound list, and then just follow the instructions to do that and you should be good to go.
