I am one, that cannot stand a thief, period

Three players get caught on camera stealing from high retail stores out of the country, and trump has to take time to ask China to be lenient in charges, and charges could be 5-10 years in prison for shoplifting

LaVar Ball, who has already said the arrest “ain’t that big a deal.”

What the [beeep] is wrong with people these days?

What is wrong with kids in this day?

You have your whole college and education paid for, and have the possibility to make millions at the next level [NBA] and they do something stupid like this

And then, the father (ball) threaten to pull there kid from college if punishment is to harsh or not to his liking,

Why would any parent be okay with this kind of behavior from there child

I guess this just burns me up cause my step son screwed himself of getting drafted in the MLB his senior year of college cause of a attitude problem and mouth and I blame his mother and grandparents for that, cause they have always had him and put him on a high platform in life with silver spoons in his mouth

I warned his mother and her parents, that they were screwing up by letting him get by with his mouth and attitude and it was going to cost him one day, and sure enough, it happened

Even my step sons high school coach let him get by with it cause he was putting there schools name out there and getting the coaches interviews with scouts and crap. Just disgusting to witness the politics I guess you could call it

Sorry guys, just had to vent, but I know if I was to steal at 18 years old, my dad would have beat the living crap out of me, and then he would have left me in jail, cause he didn’t raise a thief

Nailed it!

I believe this all started w/Dr. Spock's child raising theories.

After all we sure don't want to "break their little spirits".

IMO it's about time to break some "spirits".

Regards,
hm

Announcement a few minutes ago says all three are suspended indefinitely.

You know, looking back at how I was raised, then getting married to a women who already had a child (don’t have a child of my own) and watching her raise her child was a total night/day difference from what I was being use to.

I remember growing up, being told ONCE, to do something, or I faced the belt or a switch the second time to make sure I was listening and my father had my full attention

My father was not abusive at all, but he expected me to listen, behave, and be polite at a very young age and I know he did all that because he loved me and wanted me to be respectful to others

I look back at all the baseball games my step son had thru little league up into high school and watching the kids run all over the place, mouthing the coach, parents, umpires, and when the coach had enough, he made the offender run laps as punishment, then you see and hear the parents go berserk cause there child is being singled out for not listening.

I just don’t get it, what is wrong with some of these parents?

Me and my wife went and ate a restaurant about a year ago, and there was a family sitting beside us eating and talking, enjoying thenselves while there child ran all over the resteraunt, crawled on the table, then started throwing food

I tried to ignore it, but when a handful of rice came across our table, I called it quits.

I got up, went to the register, asked for our check, paid and on my way out, the father followed me out and asked me if I had a problem?

I politely said no, and he then asked me if his son bothered us, and all I said was, this is a public establishment and restaurant, not a playground

His wife came out about that time and proceeded to tell me not to worry about how there child behaves, he’s just a little kid, this is how a 4 year old acts

All I could say was, that you are doing a fine job, keep it up and got in the truck and went home

All I know is, if I was to behave that way in a resteraunt, my butt would have been takin to the bathroom, and tore off with a belt

But now a days, it’s child abuse if you whip your child with a belt, or a foriegn object

And we now see what our young society has became. I blame no one but the parents

You guys are hitting it on the head as for why things in our society are getting the way they are.
Read about shoplifting, it's a major problem for retailers everywhere, lots of thieves out there!

You're exactly right Sixsixty. A recent study showed that shoplifting cost U.S. retailers nearly 14 billion dollars during the year studied. Retailers recoup the loss by adding about 6% to the cost of their merchandize. Most shoplifters, according to one study, are adults and not a minors. A very big problem.

And, after reading the news on One players fathers remarks, I have to agree with trump, should have left them in jail
