Ultra Dot-anybody try or heard of these?

I have heard of this on a couple of other forums. People seem to love them. For the price the sound pretty good.

Just wondering if any one has tried these? I am on a limited budget, and this seems to be just the ticket. What do you think?

Here is the one I like:www.ultradotusa.com/ultradot_dist_blue_008.htm

What do you intend to use it for ? I have several red dot sights . I use them on handguns and shotguns mostly . I do have one Ultra Dot on a Browning Buckmark pistol and it has served me well but I like the Burris Dot scopes better . I have two of them , one is on a Freedom Arms 454 and the other is on a Dan Wesson 414 Supermag , both have held up well so far . Just a personal preference . I have a Tasco Pro Point III that has been on a 12 ga slug gun for probably 10 years and never had any trouble at all with it . The Tasco is probably the oldest one that I have and it has held up well .

How much are you planning on spending ? What are you going to put it on ?

My Ultra DOT has worked flawlessly for several years and still today it's mounted on one of my AR's. Always holds it's zero, no complaints at all.

Ultradot started it all.. I have an ultradot on my Ruger MKII target. They will hold up to every caliber gun you hand it. Get the 30mm though. The 1" tube is good for .22's but for hunting that extra diameter makes all the difference.

I have an UltraDot30 on a .223/12ga combo and it works great and the shotgun recoil has not bothered it at all. I have also used it on a Keltec SU-16A without problems. Very well made and sturdy.
