Utah Elk draw results yet?

When I apply for tags I monitor charges on my credit card as the charges show up there first. Good luck! We're keeping our fingers crossed for you.

I drew the muzzleloader limited entry elk tag that I was after /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I didn't draw either, got the e-mail about 10 minutes ago. I went on my first western excursion in January to La Sal and met some real great guys and chased after lions for the first time with hounds. So they told me to apply for the San Jaun area. We treed one cat however didn't take anything, but the experience was awesome. I'll post some pics later in the photo forum. It was the most wonderful time I've ever had and I'm to the point I'll do almost anything to get back out west. Havn't had time to do nothing but browse a few threads work has been wide open for me the past couple months.

I got an E-Mail last night saying I didn't draw my Pronghorn, but drew a Northern Muzzleloader tag, at todays gas prices, and the condition of the Northern Utah deer herd, I just wasted a few dollars, not even worth going !

Yeah, that's what I drew too. It's frustrating to see all the dead deer around here. I don't really care if I get anything. It's just fun hiking my butt off and getting out of the office for a week. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What a rip off. increase license every year than force you to buy a license. Than they sell many license to highest bidder plus give land owner permits away. What makes it worse is most of the land (BLM) is owned by us tax payers. The average joe has little chance of hunting because of expense.

??Don't you live in Pennsylvania?? If you don't like buying a license to hunt in Utah then don't... There are other states that require you to buy a hunting license then the tags. I don't mind it because I hunt and fish. If I were wanting to hunt in Pennsylvania then I'd have to pay the higher non-resident fees. You can always buy a general season tag elk/deer and have a chance a decent animal but you'll have to work for it.
