UTV hitch carrier

Hopefully I’m posting in the correct place. We have a Can Am Defender that we use for thermal hunting in south texas. Usually after we load all our gear up the bed is mostly full so when we have coyotes, bobcats, hogs, etc… we have to start moving gear up into the cab so we can put animals in the bed. Been thinking about a hitch rack/carrier to put in the rear receiver hitch to carry animals on. That would leave the bed open for gear and keep all the nasty out of the bed. Just curious from others who thermal hunt using a UTV how you carry your animals.

Had similar issues w/TJ. Highly recommend the outside rack for ease of handling and keeping mess out of vehicle. Front rack up to medium size animals and rear boom solved the issue for larger critters on the jeep.

I hunt days and use an aluminum fold down cargo carrier. My hunting vehicles are enclosed so I prefer not to to put dead critters in where I sleep.

BEWARE, cargo carriers might not show up on thermal vision and it is easy to bark your shins if folded down without a critter on it in the dark.
