VA Predator Hunt

Yeah team tnt won the overall benton bowman, jamie terry they are good friends of ours, we were team vphc that won the last hunt. It does get pretty costly but it sure is fun, send me a pm a when you get ready to purchase your gear our sporting goods shop is a flir, L3 and night optics dealer.
 
Will do. You'll had a good weekend on that last hunt. We usually do better than we did this year. With all the hunting pressure, the yotes and foxes are getting a little light shy. Never had them freak out like they did this year. It's the reason we started looking at the NV gear.
 
Yeap night vision and thermal rule, but if you have a great place to hunt with lots of predators, you should do just as good. I think that I would like to do a contest but don't want to drive 3-4 hrs (or 12 or more hrs) to do one. Maybe if the contest were a lot closer I would but until then don't think I will be doing any. So your lucky if you have them close to you so that you can hunt them and hang out with other people that like the same thing you do!!!
 
Yeah we have a lot of fun. We got 5 or 6 teams that are all friends, so we are texting pics of kills and talking crap to each other all night. Some side betting is always fun too. I have around 30,000 acres to hunt, so good places are not a problem. Not sure why most all the predators did not want to commit this year. Some would freak out at the light and some would dance around without coming in like past years.
 
Non couch killer, you can register over the phone for our hunts only time you would have to drive down is for the check in. We designed them that way this year so that people could participate from all over the state. I know what you mean about having one close, we hunted one of the dances hunts and had to drive to Richmond for registration and check in.
 
rcpanic yeah that sounds like a good time. You diff have lots of land to hunt must be nice, I only have maybe 700 to 800 acres. Most is just small acres to hunt and in diff locations which helps but it sounds like I need to get out find some more land haha!!! This has been a difficult year I haven't been out much and haven't been seeing much. It seems places I hunt the people that live close are out side making lots of noise but you'll have that.
kyle crickenberger thought I seen that but I already made plans to hunt in Pa on ur last hunt of the year, but maybe in the fall and do have to talk with my buddy to see if he still want to do it. That calling in to reg. would help a lot.
 
Well I think to dance in tournament is overrated because of the teams and what one person killed is 16 grey foxes when I was hunting there I think smaller tournament so fun because you get to know the people you hunt with that's fun When you commercialize hunting is BS nv and thermal r good but the guys that can afford like ME IS THIS TOURNAMENT HAVE A POLYGRAPH TEST
 
^ Are you talking about the dances hunts? I can only assume because there are too many missing words from the post. If so, they have a limit on the number of animals of each species you can kill (5). Even if someone had 16 grays thats only 16 points it would have helped them out this year anyway.
