So the wife wanted to go to a hockey game down in Florida with her sister this weekend, so that meant a boys only weekend!!
We started Friday night with a little fishing trip with just me a CJ. He caught his “PB” bass on his new bait caster he got for Christmas.
Saturday morning after checking traps, we loaded up and headed to the plantation to do a little more fishing and some shed hunting.
I caught the biggest bass yesterday! I ended up with 8 bass, Zac had 6, and CJ had 4. I was lucky enough to find an old shed of my Split G2 buck I killed a couple of years ago. Wish I could’ve found it the year he dropped it. It would look pretty cool next to the mount.
We ended up walking the drain my ladder stand is in and found a bunch of old sheds, a dead head, and a few newly dropped antlers.
Of course after all that walking and just about an entire day outdoors, CJ decided Pizza for dinner, lol. A great weekend so far. Now we’re waiting for mom to get home and hoping this storm doesn’t get too crazy!
