Varget and a 7.62x39?

Anyone tried it? I was thinking about giving it a try but not sure where to start weight wise. Any suggestions?

Every year I tell myself I'm not going. (I bought my ticket last week. Guess I'm going. LOL) Don't really need anything but what's that got to do with it. Plan on stopping by and visiting with Joker. He'll have a table and its a good place to grab a chair and rest a while. Terry (Joker) is a good guy and always has something interesting on his table. I bought a couple of firearms recently here in town, so funds are a little low. Maybe scrounge around and see if I got some trading stuff to take, just in case, but not really looking for anything in particular. Curious to see what kind of crowd turns out this year with all the gun control BS going on. The last local show I went to was kinda dead.
 
My neighbor has a Ruger 77, blued, in 7.62x39. He shoots AA2230 which is very close to a powder that the Chinese loaded theirs with.

He killed two does with it at 200 yards, and has never shot it since.
