Heres a pair of Coopers in 221 Fireball, 6x18 Swarovski Scopes.
Another Cooper in 204, same glass as the ones above.
Going to be working a PD load for this 6BR when it warms up some, hope to get this one to Wyoming next summer.
Since some posted AR's for Varmint rigs, heres the RR in 223 with a Burris XTR 3x12. I dont really think of it like that though, yea its a varminter but to me seems a real varmint rifle has to have a bolt handle on it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
I also have a Savage BVSS in 223 with a Zeiss 6.5x20 on it, but for some reason dont have a pic of that one.
At one time I was also of the opinion that an AR style rifle was not a good choice for a varmint rig. Boy was I wrong. I started hunting with a Rock River Varminter 2 years ago. And now it is my go to rig for short range hunting(under 400 yards). The RR is extremley accurate and follow up shots are a blast. Also the RR stays right on target after the shot. I have shot over 150 ground hogs with my RR over the last 2 years.
I also believe the AR style rifle extends the range of the 223 for ground hogs. IMO 250 to 300 yards is the limit for GH's in a 223. However I have extended that range to 400 yards by being able to deliver a fast double tap. And shooting a double tap is a lot of fun.
I detest crawl offs. And I have very few with the AR. It is simple. Just hit em again.
There are 2 problems with the AR's. 1. A lot of farmers look at you like you are a nut. But then some farmers really like them. 2. Not legal in some states. I almost got arrested in PA. Tom.

those are some really nice rifles I just purchased a cooper in .204 haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.
What model is that LaRue mount you have on your AR
I cant remember the model number but its the one for 30mm scope tube, maybe SP-104? It is sweet!
You picked up that 204 from Claimbuster I read a day or so ago? He's a great guy huh! FWIW my Cooper 204 shoots the 39BK real good. Where abouts in Wyoming are ya?
I have two Remington 700 Senderos, both with Nikon 6x18 scopes with dot reticles. This
one is a 7mm STW, and the other one is a rebarreled rifle in 6mm06
