One thing to remember is that most 257WBM came with a 26" barrel, I dont know why they put 24"s on the vangaurds but they seem to take a little less powder. I had a remington 700 cdl with a 26" tube and it would handle more powder and shoot alot faster.
I didn't bother shooting the factory ammo, I was hoping to get something worked out with my hand loads. My groups yesterday were at 3/4" moa for the 85's and 7/8 moa for the 100's. I am content with the results for now. I am eager to develope my scope settings for longer ranges, but I am ready to field test it on some varmints.
