Hi I'm new here only been calling 2 yrs, with a turbo dogg caller my kids got me these 2 calls for Christmas I've never used hand calls but the reviews on cabelas sounded good so I thought I would try and learn how to use them to start a set or change things up a little, any tips or tricks on how to use them would be appreciated. I hunt in the U.P. of Michigan and it sounds like they are good for bobcat which we are allowed to hunt up here. Thanks

The Syco Tweety is one of my favorite "factory" calls. Very loud and very nasty. Not sure what animal it really sounds like, but whatever it is, it's getting ripped in half!

The Syco is kinda fun to mess around with. If you purr over both reeds, it really makes a raspy, nasty sound. Turn it sideways in your mouth and snuff one of the splits and you can play sounds like any other single reed call.

It's mega hard to TYPE advice on how to use a mouth call, but there are lots of tutorials on youtube that would be more helpful. Easiest explanation: stick the entire reed and toneboard in your mouth with the reeds facing up, rest your top lip or top teeth on top of the reed. Start to blow until it makes a sound, then drag your lip/teeth up the reed as you pull the call out of your mouth. The pitch will increase. When you get to a pitch you like, that's your position. Try to mimic a baby crying.

Again, LOVE the syco tweety.
