Very interesting way to rifle a barrel

Very interesting. Fast manufacturing, few culls, possibly carbon fiber wrapped good barrels. Could be a real game changer. No heat stress relieving needed. Starting with 338 barrels - real market will be 30 cal. (volume). So far he said nothing smaller - like 20 & 25 cal. If it works good and he patents it, lots of headaches for other barrel makers.

Appears to be electro-etching but he could get a process patent. Dad designed the electric motors for the B-29 and got a patent for one. Wheel brakes was only thing on the B29 that weren't electric. Yup, he got the dollar from GE who 'owned' the patent.
 
My understanding is they are making 6mm to .338 barrels at the moment with smaller diameter bores yet to come. Interesting video but nothing was said regarding price. You always want to try the latest and greatest but currently I get stainless , cut rifling , contoured blanks from a premier barrel maker for $300. They shoot better than I am able already so I’m not sure how much more money can be worth the results. The accuracy results he stated in the video were impressive for sure though.
