Video Out Cable for Pulsar Apex XQ38

The video out cable connector that came with my Pulsar Apex XQ38 rifle scope has a 90 degree offset for the pins to line up and to connect to the scope. Problem is the dlock mount I am using is in the way. The angle of the offset plug needs to go in the direction of the thumb tightening screw on the dlock and therefore won't fit. I have the scope mounted on the dlock where I want it, but may have to slide the scope if I can't find another solution, possibly creating eye relief problems.

This problem has led me to ask if there is a straight connector cable available? Also, is the Pulsar plug an S-Video type? I have seen several different types of plugs on Ebay but not sure if any of those might work. If anyone has suggestions then please share them.

 
You could flip the DLOC around so that the screw is on the other side.. It will change the eye relief as the holes in the front half aren't symmetric with the holes in the rear half. For me it also resulted in me being able to only use 2 screws, but that hasn't been a problem for use on a heavy .308 win down to .22lr. Mine is also a Trail model, so this assumes the hole pattern is the same. Will also depend on what kind of rail your rifle has.
 
I thought about flipping the mount around also, but that puts the thumb screw near the ejection port.

I would run the D-LOC with the thumb screw on the right side where the ejection port is. To me that is the normal position anyway if you are right-handed.

I mounted with screws at ejection port with my Apex and everything worked perfect. I had the recorder and cables from UNV but every cable they sent failed to work. They did send several but the connections never connected properly. I forget who finally got me 1s that work without any issues
 

Thanks everyone. I turned the mount around and used three screws. It seems to work fine. I am used to having the screws on the left side, especially rings with quick detach levers. Eye relief is good on both my AR and 10/22. Little things make a difference. Thanks for your responses.

Wish I would have had video last night when I popped a rat at the chicken coop with the Apex and 10/22. That was a lot of fun. I used black hot for a great view and shot. Though I haven't had the scope very long, I am liking it a lot.

I removed the scope from the 10/22 before the rat encounter and then replaced it. The dlock held accuracy to easily take that rat.
