Can anyone tell me why the book about Carlos Hathcock is bringing $350 to $400 for a used copy?? Its also sold out most places, seems odd for a 20+ year old book that could be had for $20-30 at one time

There is a very large market for collectable books. Most likely first edition at that price. For an example of the market a first edition first printing of the "Hobbit" brings over 50 thousand, "Harry Potter" first is now over 80 thousand.

Maybe thats it, it just baffeled me when i saw the price. Was just 4-5 years ago a used copy was $20 or so....dang wish i would of ordered a few.

Sure is a kick in the junk when this happens.

I passed up a Draganov SVD russian sniper rifle for $500 a few years ago, the rifle fit me like crap, they are selling for thousands now....

Guess you can ASK anything you want; getting it is something else. Marine Sniper available from Amazon for asking price of $12.40 to $2,013.80.
