Vihtavuori N530?

anyone used or use Vihtavuori N530? i got a pound that was giving to me and I'm just wondering if anyone has tried it.
 
That specific Ciht powder no. With the other 3 I've tried, they are amazingly efficient at heating up a barrel with very few rounds. YMMV
 
The 5 in 540, is for a more energetic powder. It's N130 that adds more umph with less PSI. It would be useful in the 223 cases and 221 cases. Adam
 
I have used it in .223, 20 Tac, 17 Remington, 6X45mm,and 6mmDTi and it has worked relatively well in all. It has given me top velocities in the 6mmDTi with 70 to 80gr bullets.
ab have you tried it in the .221? I would have thought it too slow for that case unless you were using heavy bullets. The burn rate I believe is about the same as N135 and H4895.
 
thanks all, i want to try it in the 204 and 222rem. i just couldn't find much reload data on it. looking at the Vihtavuori burn rate chart IMR4064,H4895,RLl2 and TAC have similar burn rates. I'll load up a few rounds tonight and hopefully shoot them tomorrow.
