I'M NOT SELLING ANYTHING

Ok Today I did some digging for some members and found out thet they can ship it to your home. If you are looking for VV powder PM me and I'll explain it for you. This stuff is hard to find but the cat that imports it is just up river from me so I can find out if there is any in the country. And how to get a hold of it.

Hey WICOYOTE, a gun shop here in Northern NH has that stuff and was wondering if 49.95/2lb. can sounded right? He has a large selection of it and was wondering in what calibers, applications this powder is used for? I am not trying to steal your thread, but was wondering if I should get some, if it is hard to get and if it applies to my reloading needs, thanx in advance, 99

The way I understand it. it is for benchrest shooting not to say you cant hunt with it. 44.95 WOW N-135 is 36.50 here but if they are shipping it to your dealer form here the price increase is understandable to some extent. Hogdon, IMR, WIN etc. should do just fine for your hunting and paper punching applications.

I can veryify that WICOYOTE is just doing some leg work for anyone interested in VVN powders and I appreciate his willingness to go the "extra mile" for us. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Also, VVN powders are good, not only for paper punching, but also for punching out the lights on predators and varmints. I use VVN-540 for my 30 gr. Starke bullets in my .17 Remington which I use for coyotes. The VVN-540 gives me a bit more velocity without added pressure IMHO.

Anytime Silverfox and that goes for all PMers If I can help I'll do all in my power.
But don't send your wife/girlfriend looking to me for an explinatoin for you guys behavior /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif Cant help ya there

What timing. I just came up from the basement after loading 50 rounds in 22-250. Using VV N-150 with the 52 grain match Bergers.

I feel very lucky. We have VV powder in 3 stores here around the twin cities. Gunstop $34.50, Wolf's Den $44.00 and Sportsmen Warehouse I think around $40 for the 2 lb.

This stuff is great. I use VV 135 for my 40 grain 22-250 and the N-150 for bullets around 50 to 55 grain. Currently have N-135, N-140, N-150, and N-550. Paint

Just retrieved some loading info.

N-135 is a little to fast a powder for bullets heavier then 45 grains.

Here is a very nice coyote load using N-135 powder.

37.0 grains of N-135 (Near Max)
45 grain Sierra #1310
OAL 2.370"
Federal 210 Match primers

I have a nice load using the 40 grain Nosler if you would like. Paint
