vinton county Moonville Ohio fox and coyote hunting

Does anyone on here hunt the Moonville area Vinton County? I've thought of hunting that area since it is close to my house. Is it even legal to hunt back behind Moonville at night?

Vinton County, Ohio its about 25-30 minutes from Athens. Very remote area its in zaleski state forest but i think the old railroad bed is owned by county commisioners. Place i thinking of hunting is maybe 5 minutes from lake hope state park
 
not sure how far away it is. yeah i know the area has some coyote and fox but i think hogs are more in the western part of the county around salt creek but heard of some being around zaleski and Vinton furnace
 
Have you guys seen any hogs in vinton cty personally? I was looking into a hog hunting area and was looking at vinton cty for a possible hog hunt.
 
I have never actually seen a hog out while I was hunting. Ive seen land that they have torn up and have seen pictures from trail cameras on the property I hunt. But like I said I think they are more in the west or northwest part of the county around salt creek and the Vinton/Ross county line and Vinton/Hocking Line but they are starting to be more in all of Vinton County.
 
i am rather curious on the hog topic myself. i have never personally seen any in ohio, nor know anyone that has seen any. But i keep hearing about them in adams co all the way to athens and even in xenia (green co0 area
 
I know there are alot of amish around here but i dont think they really let anyone hunt on there property. One of the places i hunt near Vinton/Hocking Line had a few pretty big hogs taken out. Ive never seen any while i was hunting but they are around we have caught them on trail cameras.
 
I've never seen hogs but they are around Narrows, East Fork, Eagle Mills, and Pretty Run. I know guys that have been shooting them in that area for 10-15 yrs now. That is some rough terrain to hunt when u get back off the road
 
Never tried hunting coyote or fox there. I imagine they are there. I don't know how hard it is hunted. I called in a gray at the old mead experimental forest and saw coyote sign there.
 
Experimental isn't a bad place to hunt i hunted there alot i used to live right next to it. did u hunt beard cemetery/Sam Russell road area or by the old furnace off of stone quarry road I've never hunted furnace area but i used to know area around beard like the back of my hand
