Vmax vs Blitz king

From my testing in water the 75gr Vmax is more frangible than the Blitz King. The 75gr Speer is hardest of the three and resulted in more runners than the other two.
I'm shooting Vmax but have a quantity of the others on hand.

I like vmax’s and use a lot of them on prairie dog trips. They shoot just fine and are inexpensive comparatively. But as a whole , Sierra’s give me more accuracy. I doubt a coyote will be able to tell the difference between your choices though.

I’ve been using the vmax. No complains really. I just see that Druid hill is now loading the blitz kings. I like trying new things. LoL

Currently running the 75 Vmax @ 3150 out of my 6DTI. Kills well out to 350, as long as connect with shoulder area. If get too far back around rear of lungs or diaphragm, they run farther than I think they should. Am getting ready to try the 70 SBK @ 3300 or maybe a bit more, as soon as I settle on a load. Was told that the Blitzking is more fragile.

6mm arc.

75gr vmax vs 70 tipped blitz king.
Both around 3,000fps

Coyotes

Which and why ??
Try both whichever one you think shoots better for you go with that one otherwise IMHO it's pretty much a coin flip. If you want something less frangible but still in that weigh class I'd look at the Nosler 70gr Ballistic Tip. I shoot 75 Vmax in my 6-284 and they are death to coyotes and NOT fur friendly. Shoot 70 Nosler BT's in my 6 Creedmoor and for only a 70gr bullet they hit like Thor's hammer.

Any of the three are generally pretty easy to load for so working up a load for the Vmax, BK's and Nosler BT's should equally be easy to dial in a load that shoots any of those well.

I agree on all counts.

I didn't try Hornady's because I didn't have any, but I had a shootout between the 70 Ballistic Tips & the 70 Blitzkings in my 6x6.8.

The BT's won the accuracy battle, & have had great results on coyotes, so no plans to deviate at this time.

75gr Speer Varmint(6mm ARC )here, no complaints but don't have a lot killed with it. Most of mine are killed with the Speer 52gr Varmint out of the 222 Rem these days. When I was shooting the 6x45 and 6mm-204 I was really impressed with the 55gr NBT.
