Vortex Diamondback vs Leupold Rifleman 4-12-40

I was originally looking at the Rifleman and a Nikon prostaff but I kinda like the idea of lifetime warranty so now its between these two. If you were in the market for a new scope which one would you get? Hopefully ill get some quick replies, im hoping to place an order tonight. thanks, Josh
 
I had one Vortex Diamondback and it was very clear and a nice scope. My only complaint was the eye relief was not what I was used to. I don't know what the eye relief is on the Leupold rifleman, but it is something to consider.
 
Yeah you got me thinking about it alot actually. The sad thing is I posted this thinking I was going to go with one of the two scopes listed but ended up getting the Nikon. I have always heard good things about them so thought I would give them a try. And after looking around on their website, their warranty is the same as Leupold if it should ever need repair. Hopefully I made the right decision and will probably try the Vortex here in a couple months when I buy a .22-250 Its supposed to arrive tomorrow so I can get it mounted up and do some shooting his weekend.
