Vortex viper 6.5-20X50. any good?

I bought an AR today and was thinking about topping it with this scope. does anyone have it? If so do you like it? It got fantastic reviews
 
Ive got a razor hd adn love it, I have friends with vipers and they bought more than one. I would go with the ebr-mrad2 reticle it a very fast and accurate system for ranging and hold over. the Vortex LRBC program is also very nice it was one click of @ 500 yards
 
Just put one on a Savage 10fp in .308.Its a large looking scope at 14.5" long.I have a Redfield Rev.on my R15 and its 12"long (3-9x50)I can't say that the Vortex would be my first choice for an AR,at least not the 6.5-20x50 anyway,but thats just my $.02 worth!For a hunting rig A 3-9,4-12x50 seems like a better choice.
 
the glass is great, tracking is great as well, I personally don't own one, but my good buddy runs one on his 260LR and the clicks track very well out to 800yds, haven't shot this specific platform past that distance yet, but over all the quality of the scope is very good IMHO.
