Vulcan Arms 50 BMG?

I got an e-mail from a guy wanting to sell a Vulcan bolt action 50 BMG with optics and about 150 rounds of ammo.

I have no need or want a 50 BMG, but I have never heard of such a rifle. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

I have heard of them but never shot one...from what I remember there a lower end gun. What is he asking for it all?

Lower end?

Are you talking about Vulcan being lower end? I guess that would make sense /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Here's one of those:
Vulcan .50

It's just like the one (Laminated stock) in the pic that Wishin posted. He wants $2500 for the whole set up. Rifle, scope, and 150 rounds regular and some tracers. I figure $2000 would buy it as he needs the $$.

Personally, if I wanted "God's own rifle" it would be a Barrett .416 with the BORS/Leupold optics. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I've never met a 50BMG that I consider ugly....
As an owner of the Armalite AR50, I know what it takes to feed and care for one of these rifles. It may not be a caliber suited for everyone, but for those that shoot them(and do it well)...well, we are in a group all of our own.

For anyone thinking about getting one, you might want to do some research. It's a caliber that needs to be reloaded for....as most factory ammunition is for military use, and doesn't meet the accuracy requirements that are necessary for the civilian marketplace.

Scott (get one, you won't regret it) B
